关于我们
Yale Directors Forum A fellowship program for global leaders of museums and cultural institutions. The Yale Directors Forum is a highly selective 18-month fellowship program for leaders who are dedicated to developing cultural heritage institutions and the communities they serve. Fellows are trailblazers and change agents who are building museums, cultural centers, libraries, archives and heritage sites that educate people about the past and present. Through interaction with leading global practitioners, engagement with expertise across Yale, and connections within each cohort, the Forum provides an exciting opportunity for fellows to expand their learning about cultural heritage management, grow their professional networks and reach new levels of success and growth in their organizations. The Forum is housed within Yale’s Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (Yale IPCH) and led by Charlotte Ashamu, the Yale IPCH Director of International Programs.

“African art is not a fleeting trend, as some galleries in the Western world might suggest. While there has been a surge in showcasing African contemporary art, particularly portraiture, over the past few years this represents only a fraction of what African art has to offer … It spans a rich diversity of mediums, practices, and traditions that go far beyond figurative portraiture.” - Othman LAZRAQ, President of the? Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden (Macaal) in Marrakech, Morocco. #ICYMI The Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden (MACAAL) in Marrakech, Morocco, officially reopened to the public in February 2025 after extensive renovations.
