PROJECT UPDATE | Chicken N Pickle Construction Underway Exciting progress at the Chicken N Pickle site in Thornton! ?? Our industry partner and loyal advertiser, TOWER ELECTRIC INCORPORATED reports they've passed the 1st-floor wall rough inspection in the restaurant—a major milestone! With the first floor now fully dried in, the team is moving full speed ahead on multiple fronts. The restaurant’s exterior sheeting is complete, and in the court building, the main steel structure is fully installed. On the 2nd floor, wall rough and home run rack installations are in full swing, keeping them on track for their next project goals. Thornton, Colorado's Chicken N Pickle location will open in 2025. Yaeger Architecture’s senior interior designer, Jessica Wardle, attended the annual IIDA Mid-America chapter annual board retreat in Grand Rapids, MI last week.?This year’s retreat included a factory tour of Nucraft, allowing the board to learn first-hand how their furniture is made.?The tour included all aspects of the furniture making process, from initial veneer selection and matching to their custom finishing processes. Jessica is the current chapter president and led the board for their strategic planning for 2025.?The board outlined events and discussed their goals for the coming year, including increasing member participation, better sponsorship opportunities, and advocacy initiatives for the next legislative session.?The board is looking forward to moving the chapter and commercial interior design forward in the coming year!

Casino Del Sol Resort hosted a fantastic charity golf tournament to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Arizona and Interfaith Community Services in Tucson, AZ! At Yaeger Architecture, we’re proud to serve as the architects for Casino Del Sol’s new Tucson casino! Our construction partner,McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., was there to represent the project team and even took a moment to pose by our sponsorship sign at the stunning Sewailo Golf Club at Casino Del Sol Resort. We’re thrilled to be collaborating with such a dedicated team for this project!

Last week, Yaeger Architecture’s TJ Moon and Jay Olson attended the Design and Make Autodesk University conference in San Diego. Their week was full of listening to insightful keynote speakers and exploring the latest industry trends. The event was a great chance to connect with architects, engineers, and other professionals who leverage the same tools. TJ noted that the highlight of the week was connecting with individuals from various companies to learn what’s new in the industry and how we can leverage their various platforms to optimize workflows, collaborate with the entire design team. We look forward to implementing these insights to better serve our clients!

We are thrilled to share that Yaeger’s Vice President, Matt Turner, has been officially sworn in as AIA Kansas City's Three-Year Director at their BIG NIGHT event! Last week, the architectural community gathered to celebrate achievements and share different program opportunities. It was an honor for Matt to be recognized and take on this exciting role. This past Monday, Yaeger’s Matt Turner and Rob Fish attended the 13th annual Hero’s Classic Golf Tournament! Hosted by Valor Partners, this event supports an incredible cause: providing scholarships for the children and spouses of disabled veterans. We’re proud to be part of this effort to honor and support our nation’s heroes. A big thank you to Valor Partners Foundation for organizing such a meaningful event.
