Hey everyone,?Manan Mehta here ?? I'm a Glide Certified Expert, and Founder of Modernizing Processes. We are a team of 15, and we've built over 150 apps on Glide. I'm taking over Glide's LinkedIn today to introduce myself. ? How got into no code After Mechanical Engineering, I was working at a warehouse to improve their internal processes. I was using Google Sheets for inventory management. While the sheets did everything I wanted, it wasn't a tool that my colleagues were able to use effectively. That's when my search for a better user interface started. I discovered Glide back in 2019. In no time my Google Sheets now had an app! There was no looking back. I got into the no code space even before it had gained popularity. ? Why I love building solutions I thoroughly enjoy it when the employees of a company thank us for the app we built—and for making their lives easier. Seeing business ops become seamless with the technology you built is extremely gratifying. At Modernizing Processes, we aim to achieve such results by first identifying the process that needs automation, documenting them, then building the tech. ? Why I love Glide Glide has opened so many doors for me and is the foundation of my business. The Community has always been really warm and supportive, and Experts have always had a collaborative mindset. Glide has done a great job in building this culture, and has also consistently rewarded the most active users with amazing perks. More than anything, I love the product Glide is building. It feels so simple on the outside while it packs a lot of power. It's one of the few platforms that takes care of the 3 pillars of development—frontend, backend, and automations—in one place, so the developer's sole focus is on solving the problem at hand. ? My tip for using Glide Focus on the process flow and document it in flowcharts. I learned this the hard way. The most important part of getting a solution to work is understanding the use case very well, and to start visualizing how the output will create the expected impact. If this process is done well, your build-time decreases and the quality of output increases significantly. ? Our focus in the coming months We're working with Enterprises, solving their problems by spending time with them in person. That way we can create the greatest impact. In the last couple of years, I've attempted to meet all my top clients at least once—irrespective of their location across the world. ? Something people don't know about me I love machines—I never imagined I'd spend most of my professional life on a laptop. During college, as a part of my team DJS Kronos India, I got the chance to design and manufacture an All Terrain Vehicle. I was elected as the driver for my team. We raced in a national level competition called mBAJA, and won 1 leg of the competition: The Maneuverability Event! Since then, I've had a dream of building an auto manufacturing company someday.

We are pleased to share some impressions of our recent Alumni Get Together in New York, organized by our Alumni Ambassador Benjamin Franco III in collaboration with the PRINCESS GRACE FOUNDATION-USA. IUM Alumni from different programs and various industries gathered for a scenic sunset sail around the NYC harbor, enjoying the stunning views and engaging in meaningful conversations. An excellent opportunity to reconnect and network in a relaxed setting. It's already the third Alumni Get together in New York organised by Alumni from the International University of Monaco, that reinforced the strong bonds within the local alumni community, characterized by support and shared experiences. Part of the ticket price for the sailing tour went to the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, supporting philanthropic projects. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the event’s success. Last week, I had the great honor of celebrating the good work of the PRINCESS GRACE FOUNDATION-USA with His Serene Highness (HSH) Prince Albert II of #Monaco ???? and with esteemed #donors of the #foundation. The event took place at the dazzling Princess Grace Diamond Suite of H?tel de Paris in Monte-Carlo (Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer). I am particularly thankful for the opportunity to have spoken with HSH about the foundation’s work in the #UnitedStates ????, my Monaco-inspired #startup YACHTNOTES LLC for the #yacht #charter industry, the efforts of the Honorary Consulate of #Mexico ???? in the #Principality, and my previous graduate studies at the International University of Monaco. As a #Mexican #American, I was also honored to represent my home state of #NewMexico in this event. I shall always remember the grace and kindness of HSH during our conversation. ?? The #motivation this #experience instilled in me to continue headstrong with my endeavors is profound and for that, I am deeply #grateful and touched, from the very bottom of my heart. ??
