Germany is reshaping telemedicine – and we’re ready for it ?? In 2009, the HITECH Act transformed U.S. healthcare, accelerating EHR adoption from 10% to over 95%. A single regulation reshaped an entire system. Now, Germany is at a similar turning point. From September 1, 2025, structured preliminary assessments will be mandatory for unknown patients in telemedicine, following an agreement between the GKV-Spitzenverband and the Kassen?rztliche Bundesvereinigung.
