Let′s meet VERTEX more in deep! ?????VERTEX enhances education by bringing real-world objects to life in 3D, creating immersive learning experiences that deepen student understanding. ????HOW? The VERTEX project addresses the challenge of passive learning in traditional education by transforming students into active creators. Unlike conventional tools that often rely on passive content consumption, VERTEX empowers students to engage deeply with course subjects by capturing and reconstructing physical objects into detailed 3D models using their mobile phones. ????IMPACT The VERTEX project aims to impact 30 students in Digital Humanities by creating 3 XR educational scenarios using user-generated 3D content. Success will be measured through student feedback, engagement levels, and the ability to apply 3D models in their research. Educators will evaluate the tool’s effectiveness for encouraging creativity, and enriching the learning experience within the Digital Humanities field. For more information, contact Phasmatic

?????Bringing aquaponics education into the future with XR!??? This week, the?XRAqua team?had the opportunity to explore?immersive learning solutions?in action! Together with our partners from?#InovTechAgro, Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre, and Aquaponics Iberia, we visited an already operating?educational aquaponics system?in a Lisbon school—an inspiring setting that reinforced the impact of hands-on, technology-driven learning. By integrating?Extended Reality (XR) tools?into aquaponics education, we’re breaking new ground in?how students and professionals engage with sustainable food production. This project is all about?bridging the gap between physical experience and digital innovation, making learning more?accessible, interactive, and effective.
