The following insight was provided to us by Collin’s parents as he navigated his #cancer journey as a recipient of the #Michigan #VR4Kids Program: ?? “With his physical limitations, Collin sometimes struggles to connect with his cousins, who often just run and play in the yard at the party and leave him by himself.?This has caused #depression and issues over the years.?I brought the VR setup out for him and this drew his cousins in and allowed him to connect with them for hours on his birthday. This he did not write on his form but it was huge for my wife and I to see.?All children want are friends and his cancer has taken some of that from him due to his physical limitations.” ??
