The first ever "Ethical Professionals Mixer" co-hosted by XR Guild and Virtual World Society was a huge hit on the first night of AWE Long Beach. We planned for 300 but got 475 RSVPs. The lines were long for the first hour, but everyone who stayed in line got in (next year: arm bands). We obtained more drink tickets for the influx thanks to an additional pledge by the VRARA. Many thanks to our brilliant DJs and VJs -- ManyNames (Julian Reyes), Lord Alan (Alan Smithson), DJ Celeste (Celeste Lear), Michael Strauss -- and to Shannon's Corner for great food and drinks.
