Our team was excited to attend the Rhode Island Trucking Association’s (RITA) annual dinner this week with peers from across the industry. At the event, XPO driver and 2024 National Truck Driving Champion Joe Hicks was honored as Rhode Island Truck Driver of the Year, Providence service center manager Al D'Angelo was named incoming chairman of RITA and CEO Mario Harik delivered the keynote address. XPO's 2024 MasterTech competition brought 20 of our most outstanding truck, trailer and forklift technicians to Orlando for the ultimate test of their professional skills and knowledge. This year also marked a milestone, as Ohio-based trailer technician Alyssa Briggs became the first woman to be crowned a MasterTech national champion.
