We're proud to be apart of this transformative project providing permanent supportive housing to the Louisville area in partnership with St. John Center .
We’ve officially opened the doors to Sheehan Landing — our first permanent supportive housing development in partnership with St. John Center . This 80-unit community offers fully furnished one-bedroom apartments and wraparound services like intensive case management, life skills training and connections to community resources. Thirteen former guests from the Arthur Street Hotel are moving into permanent homes at Sheehan Landing. Named after Sister Mary Kathleen Sheehan, founding director of St. John Center , this development is a critical step toward addressing Louisville’s housing crisis. “This community represents LDG’s mission to provide quality housing for all,” said Chris Dischinger, co-founder of LDG Development. “Housing is a fundamental right, and Sheehan Landing reflects our commitment to making quality, affordable housing accessible to those who need it most. Seeing residents move in and begin their next chapter is exactly why we do this work.” Sheehan Landing was made possible through the support of our partners and consultants, including Xpert Design & Construction, Rickhaus Architectural Design, Louisville Metro Government, the Kentucky Housing Corporation, Enterprise Community Investment, Inc., Studio A Architecture, Genesis, Heritage Engineering, Coalition for the Homeless, U.S. Bank and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
