The XL team had a heartwarming day assembling activity kits to support the patients and families at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. Being away from home during difficult times can be incredibly tough, but we hope these kits offer a little comfort and a much-needed moment of distraction and relaxation. It’s moments like this that truly capture the heart of our purpose: We build to improve lives. Together, we are making a difference! A special thank you to Eco Fire Sprinklers, Inc. and Degenkolb Engineers for their generous sponsorship! #BuildToImproveLives #CommunityImpact

Case Study: Jobsite Power and Carbon Footprint Reduction Initiatives At XL, our temporary satellite offices are the backbone of our operations, ensuring smooth communication, rigorous safety protocols, and comfort in remote locations. These sites often rely on diesel generators due to limited grid access, especially during early construction stages. In XL’s latest case study, Sustainability Manager Mary O'Neil describes a five-month examination of diesel generator data from our Heredia-Arriaga trailer and identifies practical ways to reduce our carbon footprint, incorporate renewable energy, and lower GHG emissions on future jobs. Learn how the identified solutions impact operational costs and the ROI of greener power solutions on project sites.
