When this happens we leave conversations feeling unheard.
Listening is one of the easiest and hardest tasks to do because our brain is cluttered with tabs and notifications.
If we want others to listen when we speak, we must learn to listen when they do.
Effective communication is the cornerstone of leadership. It's about clarity in expression and intent in listening.
Benefits of being a better listener:
? Increased likability (yes)
? Stronger relationships
? More opportunities for growth
To become a better listener, create a ritual:

? Close all notifications before important conversations
? Schedule dedicated listening times
? Take a moment to clear your mind before meetings
Benefits of speaking with clarity:
? Faster task completion
? Reduced misunderstandings
? Enhanced leadership presence
To speak with clarity:
? Organize your thoughts beforehand use structures to communicate your governing objective
? Use simple, direct language
? Tailor your message to your audience (read the room)
