关于我们
Xinca is a family-owned company led by Salvadorian women. After migrating to the United States while fleeing the Salvadorian civil war, our family found comfort in cooking authentic dishes that reminded us of our home and connected us to our country. Our family recipes became a way for the new generation to experience a little bit of El Salvador. Our goal is to provide a product that satisfies your body while also bringing comfort to your heart.

?? Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Xinca Foods had a busy week in Houston & San Francisco. When we launched with Central Market, I never imagined Xinca Foods would be part of a tremendous community in Texas that a fantastic group of Salvadorians leads! Xinca Foods was a proud sponsor of the Puchica Voz Market on El Salvador’s Independence Day on 9/15 & Friends of El Salvador Flores y Sonrisas Fundraising gala on 9/12. We also had fun with the Central American Collective at the Houston Dynamo football game. The fun didn’t stop there; we were also in San Francisco, raising awareness of Xinca Foods at the Good Food Foundation The power of our Salvadorian & Latinx community could be seen at Puchica Voz Market, with over 450+ people waiting in line to come into the venue to support Salvadorian & Latinx minority-owned businesses. Our Latinx and Central American communities also visited Central Markets to sell us out! This happened last year as well! Latinx & Central American communities nationwide have supported our endeavor, and every day, we get asked when Xinca will be coming to LA, SF, NY, retailers, etc. The list goes on and on. When I started Xinca, I did not imagine how much pride my community would feel about my product & brand! I’m proud to be a Salvadorian American and be part of a fantastic celebration every year!

I received some awesome news last week. ?? Xinca Foods Beans & Cheese Pupusas is a finalists for the Startup CPG Shelfie Awards! ?? This recognition is?special?because it highlights my mother's recipe and my Salvadorian heritage ????. Salvadorian people are the third largest Latino community in the USA ???? , and easy-to-cook Salvadorian food options are challenging to find in the freezer aisle. I'm thrilled that Xinca Foods is paving the way for Salvadorian cuisine in the freezer aisle. Seeing our pupusas recognized and gaining visibility in American grocery stores is truly rewarding. We're over the moon for being a finalist for Startup CPG Shelfies! Thank you for recognizing our efforts.?We're committed to sharing our heritage and family traditions with more people, and we can't wait to continue this journey with you. #StartupCPG #ShelfieAwards #FoodInnovation #SalvadorianCuisine #XincaFoods

We are so excited to be a part of the SalviSoul cook book launch. When Cynthia Duran started Xinca Foods in 2021 she wanted folks to know that Salvadorian food wasn’t just pupusas! The goal of Xinca Foods is to generate awareness of our cultural food in the freezer aisle. Come join us on 5/17 and listen to Karla Vasquez talk about Salvadorian cuisine and make sure to pick up a copy of her book!

?FOUNDER FEATURE? Cynthia Duran, the founder of Xinca Foods, was perfectly happy working her “cushy” job as a data analyst for Microsoft. Except for one thing: she missed her Mom’s pupusas. From this longing, Cynthia set out to create the first Salvadorian-American frozen food brand on the market, and now, she is on a mission to bring her beloved pupusas to the frozen-aisle nationwide. To learn more about Cynthia and her proudly Salvadorian-American brand Xinca Foods, read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/eYcck28h ? P.S. Xinca Foods was a backpack brand at this year’s Alley Rally, and her delicious pupusas won third place! ? .? .? .? #founderstories #startupstories #cpg #smallbrands?
