I just got back from #SPIEMedicalImaging, where I presented my work, AdverX-Ray, developed as part of the Xecs_Eureka TASTI Project! AdverX-Ray is an image quality assessment layer that helps detect high-frequency covariate shifts in X-ray images, making Computer-Aided Diagnosis more reliable. It was great to finally share this with the community, get feedback, and see how others are tackling similar challenges. On top of that, I was Runner-up for the Robert F. Wagner All-Conference Best Student Paper Award! Definitely not something I expected for my first conference during my PhD, but a very cool surprise. I would like to thank SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics for this recognition. Also, driving in LA on a nine-lane highway for the first time? While in a campervan? Terrifying. I would definitely do it again. If you are interested, consider checking: ?? Preprint: https://lnkd.in/dT4FEizq ?? Project page: https://lnkd.in/dqUV8vEq ??
