New Client for Xavier Logistics ??
Fantastic way to end the week helping a new client with an expedited shipment of dehumidifiers! ?? I have been prospecting a client since Dec 12th of last year that my friend Jordan Robbins, MPA referred over and thought might be right up my alley. I reached out to the prospect with a cold call introduction. After a few follow-ups, I was finally able to quote a shipment she was working on. Didn't win it, but I kept in touch with her a few more times throughout the year. She eventually asked me for another quote going to Alaska. I can make Alaska shipments happen but my pricing would probably be higher and it is not my area of expertise, so I connected her with Monica Thornton for the quote. The Alaska and Hawaii expert!! ?????? This afternoon that client reached back out (10 months from the initial cold call) with an urgent PTL (Partial Truckload) shipment that needed to be picked up today in AZ and delivered to Birmingham AL by Monday. I got a credit setup completed for her company and had a driver on site to pickup within 2 hours! ?? I prospect almost every day and haven't landed a new account in a while, but today was a good win. A win to know that planting those seeds and doing the work daily (without immediate results) will eventually pay off. ?? We had a client recently ask for a quote on a Flatbed truck to haul a commercial air conditioning unit 78 miles from CT to NY. We recommended instead that they use a smaller Flatbed Hotshot truck since the dimensions and weight were less than 10k lbs and 40 feet in length. This directly saved the customer $200-$250.
