Annalynn Long JR FINC major!
I’m thrilled to share a painting that I created for the Cintas Undergraduate Ethics Fellowship! This painting on unethical behavior in the business world highlighting Enron is now proudly displayed on the ground floor of Xavier University - Williams College of Business. The Cintas Undergraduate Ethics Fellowship is a scholarship offered by Xavier University - Williams College of Business that encourages students to explore what it means to be an ethical businessperson. The program included monthly meetings with Professor Paul Fiorelli, an award-winning ethicist and recent novel author, who presented on various dilemmas and ethical issues. This piece depicts the unethical and chaotic behavior of Enron in 2001. The looming clouds and dark features paired with the graffitied building represent greed and deception that ultimately ruined Enron as they acted without ethics.? The painting is a reminder of the consequences of acting without ethics. A piece of artwork to showcase to students that it’s important to hold themselves now and later in their careers with integrity and accountability. Lastly, I want to give a shout out and thank you to Owen Eilerman for thinking of me for this opportunity to create artwork for the fellowship program.

Finance Candidate Class of 2024/2025 Williams College of Business - Xavier University ? Several months ago, I was excited to share that I would be teaching Xavier University's new FINC 477: Mergers & Acquisitions course this Fall. This elective course has focused on exploring mergers & acquisitions as a strategy for enterprise value enhancement across various industries, from strategy, valuation and financial modeling, due diligence, transition and integration, and transaction execution development considerations. Today, I am excited to announce the availability of 8-10 undergraduates and early career finance major candidates in my class who are preparing to enter the job market in December 2024 and into CY 2025.
