关于我们

We help businesses and not for profits, upgrade their capabilities, to thrive in new world and create a kinder world - one where people, planet and profit can coexist. Our HCD philosophy: We live in an age of exponentially increasing information and rapidly diminishing attention. Understanding the role that emotions, biases, and motivations play in rational and irrational decision-making to devise services and solutions that guide, guard, or nudge people is essential. Emerging from decades of an industrial-approach to people, processes, and management, global organizations are now increasingly adopting design-led thinking and a human-centred mindset to solving corporate, civic, and social problems. Our distinctiveness: X-Leap is a collaborative professional services firm founded to help innovative entrepreneurs scale up their ideas into world class organisations, by blending classical analytical problem solving with human centred designing. We help our clients upgrade capabilities across: Strategy - Talent & Culture - Digital

Professors in higher education courses design our future, but how might we 'design' something for them in 90 minutes? What is commonly misunderstood is that Design Thinking is a process; it really is about being curious about the problems around us, and empathetic about the pain of users. By putting the learner journey at the centre, it was encouraging to see the professors very passionately trying to address the problem of minimal extra curricular opportunities for their students, that limit their overall development. It was a privilege for Saikat Ghosh to have an opportunity to spark a few thoughts. Thank you AIC-BAMU Foundation. #atalinnovationcentre #innovation #designthinking #humancentredthinking #education

A few weeks ago, we posted our mini-report outlining why India is set to create significant global economic value over the next decade and beyond, through a fertile business-positive environment perfect for?#SMEs?(See the comments for a link to the report!) To that spirit, we've put together a mini case study documenting the success story of the Finnish family-run Lindstr?m Group which successfully captured the India advantage: In 2006, the Lindstr?m group was generating revenues of 150 Mn Euros globally, and had a presence across 14 countries. Their primary offering? Workwear and uniform rental services to players across the industrial and manufacturing sector. Looking to explore new sources of growth, the family-run firm saw a business opportunity in India in 2007. What happened after that? Over a 10-year span, Lindstr?m's India business grew to contribute to a massive 55% of the group's global revenue. Through a carefully executed roadmap, the firm more than doubled its turnover to 360 Mn Euros. Furthermore, India's resource-rich and low cost environment enabled the group to setup 11 business units, including a dedicated R&D team. Lindstr?m was able to grow its India employee base to 600+ over just 10 years. Seeing the supply side advantage, the firm even shifted over 95% of its fabric sourcing to local Indian vendors, which was previously sourced entirely by Chinese and Southeast Asian suppliers. This set of strategic steps has enabled the group to successfully capture the India advantage and set it up as the heart of its R&D, with major innovations across hygiene and management that has enabled it to establish dominance and stability across its value chain. The commercial success of the India business has since enabled the group to expand the business to over 24 countries globally. Lindstr?m's story echoes the possibilities and opportunities present for many European SMEs over the next 30-50 years. What's more? This is just one of the thousands of success stories of a non-Indian organization capitalizing on the opportunities offered by the fertile Indian business landscape. Playing to succeed in India requires a very careful set of steps and a heavily data-driven approach including strategic due-diligence, market research, thoughtful planning and network connections across industries and value-chains. We can help you with that. The time is now. Get in touch with us to help you UNLOCK and capture the India advantage. Disclaimer: X-Leap has not been associated or worked with the Lindstrom Group on this or any other project to-date #Strategy?#Europe?#SMEs?#Innovation?#Risks?#Macroeconomics?#Internationalization?#Casestudy?#Successstory?#Growth?#InternationalBusiness?#MarketEntry?#Gotomarket Saikat Ghosh?||?Prithwiraj Ghosh?||?Krishna N. Did you know that European #SMEs face a serious shortage of new-age industry skills? According to a 2023 study nearly 40% of European SMEs face shortages of adequate talent, while a whopping 70-80% report serious difficulties in hiring talent with the right skillsets. This talent deficit is estimated to have worsened by 33% over the past 3 years alone. At the same time, the eligible population pool is shrinking: The EU's 264 million working age population is on a rapid decline, and is expected to shrink by 35 million by 2050. However, the demand for digital skills is consistently on the rise, widening the demand-supply gap. If not solved, this gap risks derailing the EU's economic productivity, profitability and growth. While EU governments are prioritizing tackling this problem internally, a combination of 2 smart levers can yield unprecedented outcomes for EU business health and productivity 1. Easing cross-border labour policy, regulation and costs to attract global talent - India's working age population is on the rise, and is projected to surpass 1.1 Billion by 2030 alone. Combined with its expanding skilling and talent development landscape and strong digital adoption trends, Indian talent may likely form a significant bulk of the new age labour force. EU-based SMEs will have a bespoke opportunity to capture this advantage. 2. Establishing data-driven hiring and talent management practices, infrastructure and culture in order to attract and retain the optimal talent, in the right numbers, from the right sources. A data-driven strategy can bolster SME business health by solving for the 3 C's: Clarity, Capability and Culture. While significant opportunities for cross-border collaboration will likely open up for European SMEs, the use of data-driven decision making and strategic talent management is what will likely differentiate the 1%. At X-Leap, we have consistently solved for these critical performance upgrades and leveraged a heavily data and evidence-driven approach to helping SMEs succeed. We can help you capture this dual-sided talent advantage. The time is now. Get in touch with us - we'd love to have a chat. #Strategy #Europe #SMEs #Innovation #TalentManagement #Skills #TalentAcquisition #Advisory #InternationalBusiness Saikat Ghosh || Prithwiraj Ghosh || Krishna N.
