November is National Diabetes Awareness Month, and to show our support, the company committed to donating to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for each employee who wore blue last Friday. Employees across 20 states took part in the fundraiser and deemed themselves, Team Blue! Way to go Team Blue and thank you to all of our employees for their support.

X-Caliber Rural Capital (XRC) achieved a new milestone this week! XRC was part of the first Rural PACE-X Transaction, a combined $26.3MM funding for the construction of a new hotel Silverthorne, Colorado. The XRC team provided $20MM of conventional senior-secured financing through an X-Caliber Rural Capital affiliate. The CastleGreen Finance team provided $6.3MM of Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing. The new 111-room hotel is a Holiday Inn Express and will fall under the IHG Hotel brand. X-Caliber ’s Eric Carlson, MBA originated the transaction. X-Caliber recently launched Rural PACE-X, a proprietary product that provides high-leverage financing that combines conventional financing and C-PACE for ground-up construction projects in MICRO-RURAL areas. Funds are intended to provide construction-through-stabilization financing for up to five years. C-PACE funds are intended to be long-term but are prepayable at the borrower’s discretion. Any real estate project that pays property taxes including hospitality, manufacturing, office, warehouse and logistics, flex, retail, mixed-use, and multifamily is eligible for RURAL PACE-X.
