Hello WY State SHRM: We are excited to see everyone in Casper for our State Convention September 19th through September 20th at the Ramkota. We have 2 exciting awards we will be giving out this year. Our Volunteer of the Year and the Public Sector Award of Excellence which is awarded to the person who works in public service in HR that is an exceptional HR leader. Please remember that is awarded in memory of Kate Selby who was dedicated to SHRM volunteer and HR excellence. If you have any nominations, please reach out to the state council for a nomination form! Register early, early bird ends in August!

As a reminder, the WY State Council is sponsoring an event at Top Golf starting at 6 PM till 9 PM on Sunday, June 23rd. Top Golf is located in the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel at 71 East Madison Ave. Also, we will have the parade of states Sunday during the opening session. We will meet at 1:30 PM at the Volunteer Leaders Lounge, Hall B and the parade will start at 2 PM. I am looking forward to seeing everyone there! Kara

WY is going to have an event at TopGolf on Sunday, June 23rd?from 6 PM - 9 PM in the East Bay Suite during the 2024 SHRM National Conference. Food and beverages will be available as well as a variety of virtual games – including Topgolf, Zombie Dodgeball, Hockey Shots, Baseball Pitching, Carnival Classic and more – paired with lounge seating and HDTVs.
