    Hello Friends. I have some more wonderful news to share about the continued growth of DayOne Hospitality Consulting. Mark Freeman has joined the DayOne team as Senior Vice President of Growth. Mark is a renowned leader in the onsite foodservice industry, with more than 50 years of experience and innovation. He has worked with some of the world's most influential companies, such as Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Ford, and LinkedIn, to create and transform their food programs and services. Mark spent over 26 years in College and University foodservice world and has led and supported multiple consulting projects within the industry. As a Past President of the Society For Hospitality and Foodservice Management (SHFM), he has received prestigious awards and recognition for his contributions to the industry and the community. I’m so excited to have Mark join the team and look forward to the continued growth of DayOne Hospitality Consulting.

    I'm very excited to announce Gary C. Goldberg has joined the DayOne Hospitality Consulting team. A Boston native, Gary started his career with Host Marriott before endeavoring to open his own catering/staffing business while simultaneously earning his master’s degree in Hotel and Food Service Management. Leaving New England on a venture that would move his family to West Lafayette, Indiana, Gary accepted a role with the Purdue Memorial Union where he was responsible for the success of a cutting-edge campus retail dining program that garnered many design and development awards and inspired similar projects at other universities. He then moved west in a leadership role as the Senior Director of Dining for the University of Washington in Seattle. Most recently, Gary was Assistant Vice President of Hospitality Services at Kent State University in Ohio.   His passion for the hospitality industry will guide him to support DayOne college & university clients with enthusiasm from his now home-base in Chicago where he enjoys time with his wife and two daughters, as well as fulfilling on his lifelong commitments to running, biking and ice hockey.
