Wow. The #AZFemTechSummit just ended, and what a day it was! Susan Sly and her team slayed in putting on the inaugural summit in Phoenix. From the first keynote by Kate Gallego, Mayor of Phoenix, who talked about the importance of a multidisciplinary commitment in order to change the game in women's health, the day was non-stop value. With too many outstanding panel members and keynotes to list, the agenda was jam-packed with speakers on AI, data disparities, research, entrepreneurship and many other core topics to women's health. A few highlights include: - I was honored to be on a panel talking about how we build better data with moderator Beth Bergmann, and panel members Erin Moran and Mia Chorney. - Melisa Margraves from sponsor Hewlett Packard Enterprise shared her vast knowledge on AI in the life sciences as part of a panel on the future of femtech in AI and healthcare with moderator Andrea (Andi) Huels, and panel members Harini Malik and Shanelle Frisbie. - And Madison Soucie joined the conversation on a panel focused on entrepreneurship in femtech alongside moderator Azin Radsan van Alebeek and panel members Jasmine B. and Sally Mueller. Not only did the sessions describe the state of femtech today and how we got here, but focused on actionable next steps we can all take to raise the game. We need to change the stories...from stories of loss to stories of success. Women's health is a critical health priority and economic objective.
