Aligning Business Models with Customer Needs – Week 7 Reflection This week, our group focused on making sure our business model truly aligns with customer needs, expectations, and preferences. As we analyzed our customer interviews, one thing became clear: it’s easy to assume we know the problem, but the real challenge is stepping back and listening before jumping to solutions. I’ve realized how crucial it is to dig deeper into customer insights rather than forcing an idea to fit. This shift in perspective has made me more open to evolving our approach. Instead of being locked into our original vision, we’re refining our model based on what people actually want, not just what we think they want. It’s a lesson in adaptability—not just in business, but in leadership and problem-solving overall. Beyond customer insights, we also explored the financial side of our project as we considered which revenue model might work best for our venture. Seeing how other businesses use different pricing models, like freemium plans or tiered pricing, made me think more critically about long-term viability.
