New Partnership Supporting Local Nonprofits We are excited to announce a new collaboration between Westfield Washington Township, the City of Westfield, Indiana , and the Westfield Washington Public Library to provide enhanced resources for local nonprofits. Starting next week, nonprofits will have complimentary access to Candid, a robust grant research tool offering a database of nearly 300,000 grant makers and funders. Additionally, nonprofits can benefit from consultations, project planning assistance, and more to help them grow and succeed. Join us for the official launch event on Tuesday, February 11th at 12:00 PM at the Westfield Washington Public Library. We will host informational sessions with staff available to assist nonprofit leaders in navigating these valuable resources.

NEWS RELEASE: Westfield Washington Township to Host "Hidden in Plain Sight" at Westfield Washington Schools Rock the Block Traveling Exhibit Designed to Help Parents Recognize Potential Warning Signs Westfield, IN?–?Looks can be deceiving. That’s the message behind a unique traveling exhibit created by Intersect, Inc.?in collaboration with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.?“Hidden in Plain Sight”?is an interactive display designed to help parents of teens recognize unfamiliar hazards that are often in plain sight. By walking through a makeshift child's bedroom, parents learn to identify objects that could provide mental health awareness and insights about risky behavior. Amidst the clutter of clothing scattered on the floor, school supplies on a desk and personal care products on a vanity, there are more than 100 items that can be signs that a young person could be involved in risky, harmful or even illegal activity. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with the items on display. “Hidden in Plain Sight” will be on display at the?WWS Rock the Block event,?at?Westfield High School?on?August 2nd starting at 5:00 PM.?The exhibit is open to?ADULTS ONLY.?Members of the media are invited to cover this presentation. However, pictures of the inside of the trailer are not allowed.
