Our ocean is at a critical tipping point. For decades, the ocean has absorbed the impacts of burning fossil fuels, buffering us from the worst effects of the #ClimateCrisis. But record-breaking marine heatwaves are pushing ecosystems to the edge. As the ocean warms, the cascading impacts have far-reaching consequences, affecting people, food security, economies, and global stability. Truly, we’re #InHotWater. It’s time to stop burning fossil fuels and urgently transition to renewables. The ocean – and all of us – depend on it. #COP29 #ActForOurPlanet

Creating a world where people live in harmony with nature. Together, anything is possible.
关于我们
Nature is our life-support system. That’s why WWF – an independent conservation organization active in nearly 100 countries – is tackling the deepening crisis of nature loss caused by human activities. Our ambition is to set nature on the path to recovery in the coming decade for the benefit of people and wildlife. Working with many others, we must protect and restore natural habitats, stop the mass extinction of wildlife, and make the way we produce and consume sustainable. ============ General information Thank you for joining the WWF LinkedIn community. Did you know that 80% of the people displaced by climate change are women? Women and girls, especially Indigenous women and women of colour, are among the most vulnerable to the impacts of the #ClimateCrisis. But they're also key agents for change. Women’s contribution to nature-based solutions and climate adaptation creates a ripple effect, for families and communities. Empowering women is crucial for a world where people and nature thrive. It's vital their voices be heard. They must be equally represented to drive change. #COP29 #ActForOurPlanet
