Defying Expectations: Besa Gordon Brings the Energy of DEFY Wrestling to Good Day Seattle Besa Gordon, host of Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle, brought a surge of energy to Good Day Seattle yesterday morning during a lively segment with Erin Mayovsky to preview this weekend’s episode. The topic? DEFY Wrestling, a professional wrestling organization that clearly holds a special place in Besa's heart. Besa, known for her passion, shared her experience attending DEFY’s Super 8x GP, where a new world champion was crowned. She aimed to give viewers a glimpse into the vibrant atmosphere and explain why she "fell back in love with wrestling." While Besa admitted she's "still a little frightened to get in the ring," she recalled her experience as a ring announcer for Defy's first all-women's match, emphasizing the electric energy of the crowd. She described the fans, known as the DEFYants, and how "the walls are shaking" at Washington Hall. Besa also touched upon the therapeutic aspect of wrestling, suggesting it's "a way for them to maybe they had a bad week. They're able to get in the ring, they're able to get some of their frustrations out." She likened the fan experience to attending a Seahawks game, noting, "Your adrenaline starts moving. That is the feeling that I get whenever I'm at Defy."
