Friends in the US elevator industry, we invite you to celebrate the first annual "National Elevator Mechanics Day" with us on Monday, May 19th. We saw that there was a "national day" for just about everything, and we thought it was high time that the hardworking men and women of our industry have a day of their own. So, we created one! We'll be celebrating at each of our USA branch locations, and we encourage our colleagues to hold celebrations of their own. In honor of Employee Appreciation Day (observed Friday, March 7th), the leadership team at Wurtec prepared and served a breakfast for the employees at our Toledo headquarters. Last week we announced the introduction of MODCALL, a wireless hall riser system for use during elevator modernization. We're excited to introduce MODCALL - a brand new solution for optimizing efficiency and customer satisfaction during elevator modernization. A simple new accessory is available for use with Wurtec's rail blocks - a hardware kit containing six square head set screws. This kit is compatible with our regular sizes of standard and clevis rail blocks. Congratulations to Brett and Jesse at Wurtec Dallas for winning last month's branch sales challenge! Dallas exceeded their sales goal by the highest percentage among all our branch locations, so they are the proud possessors of the "Wurtec Championship Belt" - for now! This belt is a traveling trophy that will reside at whichever branch has won the challenge the previous month.
