We hosted a CREW Chicago CREWCareers session with the young women of Off The Street Club at our new Rightsize Facility & Wurkwel Ventures, LLC 5th-floor space here in River North, diving into Urban Planning, designing city blocks and exploring how communities come to life. ?? Walking a Mile in Our Clients’ Shoes: Lessons Learned from the Other Side There is no better way to understand our clients than to experience what they go through firsthand. Our latest client? Wurkwel Ventures, LLC and Rightsize Facility. Over the course of the past several months, we’ve had the unique opportunity to be our own clients. We were the corporate clients in transition, looking for solutions from concept to completion. During this months-long project, we were able to walk a mile (or more!) in our clients’ shoes, and along the way, we gained invaluable insights about what truly matters when creating a workspace. Here’s what we learned: ? Trust is Everything. Clients place their faith in vendors to guide them through complex decisions. Earning that trust means being transparent, proactive, and always acting in their best interest. ? Punch Lists Must Be Finished Quickly. The last 5% of a project is often the most painful. Assumptions lead to missteps. Keeping all stakeholders informed, aligned, and engaged prevents surprises and ensures a smoother experience. ? Sustainability Matters. Clients increasingly care about the environmental impact of their spaces. Offering sustainable solutions isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s an expectation. ? Technology Streamlines the Process. Digital tools can simplify product selection, pricing, and floorplan integration, reducing friction and making the experience more client-friendly.
