Applications are now open for WTS Southwest Idaho scholarships! Spread the word to any interns and students you know! The WTS Southwest Idaho Chapter is now accepting applications for the $3,000 Leadership Scholarship and $3,000 Memorial Scholarship through November, 30, 2024. These scholarships are awarded to women pursuing graduate or undergraduate studies in the transportation field. Minimum criteria for selection are: -GPA of 3.0 or higher -Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a transportation-related field, such as transportation engineering, planning, finance, or logistics -Plans to pursue a career in a transportation-related field Both applications and instructions can be found linked below. It is almost time for our next litter pick up for the WTS Adopt-a-Highway on Orchard Street in Boise! We need your help Saturday, June 29 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Please email Dave Butzier ([email protected]) for more details and to let him know you will be there. This is a great way to spend some volunteer time with other transportation professionals and give back to the community! A big THANK YOU to our May volunteers who picked up 12 bags of trash!
