On Tuesday, November 12th, we were thrilled to gather at The Music Center in downtown Los Angeles for the 2024 WTS-LA Scholarships & Awards Gala. With the theme "Trailblazing Together: Empowering Women, Elevating Transportation, and Enhancing Lives," it was a truly inspiring evening celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in the transportation industry. We want to extend a special thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success. Your support empowers WTS-LA to continue advancing our mission of promoting diversity, inclusion, and excellence in transportation. ??Get ready for the 2024 WTS-LA Scholarships & Awards Gala on Nov 12th! ?? Here's what to expect! Location: The Music Center, 135 N. Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Upon arrival, head upstairs to the registration table on the first floor of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Schedule: Cocktail Reception: 5:00 PM (cash bar) | Awards Ceremony: 6:00 PM | Dinner: 6:30 PM Parking & Transit: Metro - Civic Center/Grand Park or Grand Arts/Bunker Hill stations | Parking - $10 at the Music Center Main Garage (cash only). Enter via southbound Grand Ave. Networking Opportunities: Arrive early for a cocktail hour at 5:00 PM to mingle with fellow attendees. Amenities: Cocktail Reception - Enjoy drinks and networking | Photobooth - Capture memories near the registration area | Wine/Whiskey Boutique - Pick up wine or whiskey at the Grab-and-Go table to support the WTS-LA scholarship fund. Dress Code: Black-tie optional. For Scholarship/Award Recipients: Upon arrival, check-in at the registration table for your name badge, table assignment, and group photo location.
