Earlier this September, WTS IE hosted our 3rd annual Topgolf Scholarship Fundraiser. It was a fun evening with industry friends! A big shoutout and thank you to our VIP guests—Carrie Schindler and Ray Wolfe of San Bernardino County Transportation Authority and John Tarascio of Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC)—for their generous support of WTS. ? Today we celebrate Women's Equality Day, the day the 19th Amendment was passed. Despite gains in leadership representation, women remain underrepresented in C-Suite and senior leadership positions. This is particularly true for the transportation industry, where over 70% of America's highest-ranking state transportation and highway department heads are male. This overrepresentation has a significant impact not only on women’s access to leadership roles, but also on transportation policy and system design.
