Since its first broadcast in 1957, WTJU has amplified the Arts at the University of Virginia. WTJU 91.1 FM is a community radio station that enriches the culture of Virginia, extends the educational mission of UVA, and brings people together through excellent music and conversation. Its operations also include a student radio station (WXTJ 100.1 FM), podcast collective (VirginiaAudio.org), summer camps & educational programs, a micro-museum, and community events.
