I'm thrilled to announce that I've accepted an offer to join the Accenture Skills to Succeed (S2S) Internship Program this summer!?I want to thank Lauren Scott at WSU PwC MPREP Scholars for letting me know about this opportunity and for Stephanie Andrecovich's help during the interview process. I also want to thank Chioke McRae and Sara Berisha at the Ilitch School of Business Corporate Mentor Program for their encouragement and for helping me with my job search. I'm excited for the opportunity to learn and grow with Accenture!

After a few months, I would finally like to announce my plans for this upcoming summer! I will be traveling to the Pacific Northwest to Beaverton, Oregon and be working at Nike World Headquarters as a Business Analyst Intern on their Supply Chain and Operations team!!! The triple exclamation is needed, as this is such an honor to be working for a dream company across the country! ? Since pursuing supply chain, I have been looking for an opportunity outside of my comfort zone, specifically in an area of personal interest and passion. I have always found interest in fashion and apparel, but was not sure how to jump into this industry. Living in an automotive-driven city and being a first-generation student, breaking into this industry has been a journey filled with challenges and ambiguity. With large amounts of self-belief, Nike has given me the chance to showcase my experience and value at their company this summer.? ? I want to thank my interviewers, Ava Mazzoni, MBA and Shawn Doyle for being so kind, supportive, and truly showing what the culture at Nike looks like within their employees. As I step into this new chapter, I'm ready to fully immerse myself in new experiences, collaborate with industry leaders, and contribute to initiatives that shape the future of sports and lifestyle. ? I also owe immense gratitude to my peers and advisors in Alpha Kappa Psi - Beta Omicron Chapter, Ilitch School of Business Corporate Mentor Program, Department of Global Supply Chain Management at The Mike Ilitch School of Business, and Wayne Women in Business, whose unwavering support and guidance has been my motivation to take this next step in my professional journey. These communities have fostered a spirit of continuous growth, consistently motivating and pushing students towards pursuing the next significant endeavor. Congratulations to our alumnus Daniel Snyder, MBA, who was selected for the 2024 class of the Oakland Together 40 Under 40. Great recognition, we are proud of you Daniel! Daniel earned his bachelors in Global Supply Chain Management and also his MBA from Wayne State University - Mike Ilitch School of Business. He is currently a senior strategic buyer at AGC Automotive Americas. He is also the president of ISM - Southeast Michigan. I had such a great time yesterday at Rehmann learning about different areas of marketing and getting to experience what being in the office is like! I was able to gain very valuable insights into what day-to-day work looks like for the various areas of digital marketing, and I am more confident in my degree than ever! Thank you to my mentor from the Ilitch School of Business Corporate Mentor Program, Christina Andre for organizing the whole day, and thank you Holly Shier, Connie Thompson, Paul Bruno, Erin Johnson, Miranda Junga, Marcy Meinke, Ashley Pearson, Deryn Brennan, and Ross Lindhout for giving me such an enjoyable and valuable learning experience.
