We're excited to celebrate with our community partners at Boston-Thurmond United as they officially open their new Outreach Center on March 18! A few of us had the chance to visit during construction and its incredible to see the transformation now complete. This adaptive reuse project has turned a once underutilized building into a vibrant community space that will serve and support the residents of the Boston-Thurmond neighborhood for years to come. We're proud to support this work and look forward to celebrating this exciting milestone!

We had a wonderful time at Forsyth Country Club connecting with our incredible network of professional advisors. From great conversations to insightful updates, we're grateful for the opportunity to come together in support of charitable giving in our community. Our team had the privilege of attending the Love Out Loud Community Transformation Luncheon last week, where Elaine Summerfield, Vice President, Community Investment, delivered powerful remarks on the panel! We are grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work of Love Out Loud and how our community is coming together to ensure that everyone thrives. Attorney Kim Stogner (Womble Bond Dickinson) shared her inspiring experience working with the late philanthropist Joyce Kohfeldt. With Kim's guidance and support from The Winston-Salem Foundation, Joyce created several charitable funds to benefit organizations close to her heart, including Crosby Scholars, Goodwill, and Second Harvest Food Bank. "Clients like Joyce make what I do truly meaningful," Kim reflected, highlighting how philanthropy deepens the bond between advisors and their clients.
