Last week, we hosted an incredible 3-day training and team-building conference for our Darley Defense team!
With Employee Development as one of our Core Values, the engaging workshops and insightful sessions were a fantastic opportunity for our team to learn, grow, and connect to better serve our military customers and partners!
One of the highlights was a keynote speech by Dr. Mark Lowry, who shared valuable insights into TAIS personality screenings and the dynamics of successful teams. These discussions have already started to inspire new strategies and improvements in our service offerings.
But the fun didn't stop there! We also hosted several social/morale events that built camaraderie and sparked some friendly competition. The awards dinner put on by Audrey Darley on the first night was a very classy event where we celebrated some special achievements by 11 of our standout performers in 2024. On the second day, Will Darley coordinated a delicious St. Patrick's Day-themed feast at our HQ. It was a welcome opportunity for our Itasca, IL team to connect with our many Defense colleagues from out of town, fostering even stronger partnerships. That evening, George “NASCAR” McCullough brought 64 drivers to the K1 Speedway where the team’s “slightly” competitive nature caused more crashes and collisions than all Indy 500s combined. There is still an investigation going into how the oldest driver out of 64 could have won the GOLD ???? (And of course, a special shout out to Table 6 for their OMAHA audibles on the "Darlelevator" pitch!)
Let's continue to strengthen our bonds and celebrate our successes together. Stay tuned for more updates and keep the momentum going! ??
