Please join us in welcoming our newest team members, Will Wright and Amy Alcott. We’re excited to welcome Will Wright as a Partner. As a seasoned member of the search fund community since 2016, Will Wright brings extensive experience as a search fund entrepreneur, operator, and investor. From 2018 to 2023, he served as CEO of Peerless Events & Tents, a company he acquired through Dunmore Capital Partners, a traditional search fund he founded in 2016 (to which WSC & Company was a proud investor!). We believe Will’s background and experience will strongly support our WSC & Company searchers and operators. Amy Alcott is joining as a Vice President of Finance at WSC & Company. Amy is responsible for fund accounting, administration and tax. We are excited about the value and experience that Amy will bring to our searchers, operators and partners.

We came away from our Searcher and CEO Conference energized by the collaborative working sessions hosted by our awesome speakers and panelists last week. Our sessions included the following topics: preparing for a deal, selling to a search fund entrepreneur, effective use of CEO coaches, prioritizing and making impactful decisions as a CEO / board member, roadmap to an exit, and case studies highlighting two of our portfolio companies. We look forward to continuing to dig in with our searchers and CEOs, armed with several key takeaways and new perspectives to refine our support.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting over 130 searchers, CEOs, peer investors, and LPs at our 8th Annual Searcher & CEO Conference. The theme of our conference was centered around impactful decision making across teams as a search fund entrepreneur. Thank you to all who attended and a special thank you to Dennis Lally, Grant Todd, James Bergeron, Jenna (Lally) Whigham, Justin Cunningham, Lewis Quinn, Lisa Holthaus Mikkelsen, and Will Wright for their contribution to our event.
