Spring weather can't come quick enough, so we can enjoy spaces like the Grandview Heights Public Library pavilion. This project brought to life an inviting outdoor pavilion — now home to their popular summer concert series. A repurposed shipping container for drive-thru services and a versatile lawn that expands how people interact with this community hub. With improved accessibility throughout, we've helped amplify the library's role as a true gathering place for connection and learning. #CommunityDesign

WSA Principal Natalia Lebedin's recent journey to Ukraine embodies what community service truly means. As president of the UKRAINIAN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF OHIO INC, she had the opportunity to meet the grass-roots volunteers transforming their medical supply deliveries into frontline aid. Working as program director for Unbroken Cities, a collaborative effort dedicated to connecting cities worldwide to provide support and enhance rehabilitation efforts in Ukraine, Natalia toured vital rehabilitation facilities in Lviv. Between these powerful moments, Natalia found inspiration in Ukraine's architectural community, joining design studio critiques at the relocated Kharkiv School of Architecture, a world-class architectural design school training Ukraine's future architects. From Kyiv's historic neighborhoods to Lviv's humanitarian spirit, she witnessed firsthand what she describes poignantly: "Destruction is everywhere, yet the people persevere with dignity and resolve." We're proud to have leaders whose commitment to community shapes positive impact both here and abroad.
