Today, we remember the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001 on American soil as terrorist attacks cost nearly 3,000 people their lives. We remember and honor those who passed and will never forget the events of that day.

The White River Military Coordination Alliance held its third quarterly meeting of 2024 Friday, August 16 at the Sullivan Civic Center and Lake Glendora Test Facility (LGTF) in Sullivan. The LGTF comprises 460 acres containing three different ranges on a 100‐acre lake for a variety of testing purposes. The facility is used for hydroacoustic testing, underwater explosives testing, and surface burns. The remote site and unique capabilities it provides for the Department of Defense, including strong community support, places it in high demand for testing. https://lnkd.in/gkcQpvRx

As part of Joint Munitions Command, Crane Army is executing a modernization plan that will ensure it is able to meet the future needs of the United States Department of Defense and all the services. A highly trained and professional Army needs munitions that match it in order to win the fight.

It was a fantastic week in our nation's capital for the annual CRDG Congressional Reception and Team Crane Congressional Breakfast! Big "thank you" to fellow sponsors and organizers, ARI (Applied Research Institute), Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Indiana APEX Accelerator and Radius Indiana for your collaboration and hard work - as well as Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane Army Ammunition Activity, and NSA Crane. This was a true TEAM effort and embodies the work done on the installation every day. It was a pleasure to hear from host legislators, Senator Todd Young, Senator Mike Braun, Congressman Larry Bucshon and Congresswoman Erin Houchin. We greatly appreciate your support of defense in Indiana and the words you shared about Team Crane's momentum. Our CRDG team is already looking forward to next year, and we hope to see even more members, peers and defense industry professionals in 2025!

Today we remember those who fought for our freedom and honor all of our nation's veterans. In recognition of the holiday, the White River Military Coordination Alliance will be closed.

SCALE is helping prepare students for careers in #defense and #microelectronics and this initiative is growing through additional funding from the Silicon Crossroads Hub! Exciting collaboration between our communities that surround NSA Crane and the dedicated professionals and thought leaders in these growing industries!

Today we honor those who fought for our freedom on June 6, 1944. On that day, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy, their victory becoming a major turning point in WWII. #dday
