WSP is hiring a growth oriented role for our client, a large national multifamily owner. This professional will oversee between 6000 to 10,000 units across the West Coast. The portfolio is scaling, and thus a hands-on individual contributor who enjoys playing "quarterback," on value-creation/business plan execution is needed on the team. This Director or Senior Director position must be based in Southern California and will report to the Head of AM, West Region. Given the pace of growth at the firm, professional development and leadership opportunities will present themselves over the next real estate cycle. Qualifications for this position are; 7-15 years' experience, which includes: investment management, capital markets/transactions, valuations, annual budgets, and coordination across a variety of internal and external functions. This professional must have a depth of financial acumen, analytical acumen, and strategic decision-making skills. Our client, a well-capitalized ($1 Billion+) growing real estate investment management firm, is looking for a talented Vice President of Asset Management to oversee a portfolio of multifamily assets in the Southeast. With 5-10 years' experience, this Vice President will join a lean team and will be expected to oversee business plan execution through working with third party property management partners. The ideal candidate brings a depth of value-add multifamily equity experience coupled with institutional financial and analytical training earned from either a top 20 investment bank or capital markets program. Experience working at an IRR driven real estate private equity firm will be prioritized, although candidates with experience from a multifamily Sponsor will also be considered. Our client?has a geographically distributed team, with offices in New York City and Atlanta, as well as several remote team members.
