Fluffing Up the Nest at Gilsland Farm! After nearly three years of diligent planning, Maine Audubon's Gilsland Farm Sanctuary is under way on a series of upgrades to their public engagement, outdoor education, and property maintenance facilities including a new barn complete with event and storage space, as well as a new property stewardship annex. We’re also excited about the rain garden which will be showcased as an educational component featuring native pollinator plants while treating stormwater for pollutants and slowing down the runoff to the Presumpscot River. These thoughtfully designed elements will enhance Maine Audubon’s ability, as the state's oldest and largest wildlife conservation organization, to engage and educate the public while conducting conservation work at their state headquarters in Falmouth. #acornseedtosite #maineaudubon Project Team Builder: Wright-Ryan Construction, Inc.
