Murrow Award winning Sports Anchor/Reporter (WRAL) | PxP for CBS Sports, ESPN+/ACCNX | Documentary Producer | Podcaster | Dynamic Storyteller

A second award for the documentary “Ghosts In The Stadium”! Over the weekend I found out that we won in the sports special category for the 2024 RTDNAC Awards. We won a regional Murrow award for this same project earlier this year. Grateful to be a part of a great team at WRAL!

WRAL-TV Programming Coordinator, Social Media Book Promoter

What a week at WRAL !! We had our first Explorer Post 5 meeting this past Tuesday. Members were able to observe the 7pm newscast from the studio and control room. We spent the rest of the meeting getting to know each other, asking each other questions, and discussing what to expect for the rest of the program year. We had another station tour on Wednesday, with stops at the Assignment Desk and the Weather Center, where they spoke briefly with WRAL Meterologist Elizabeth Gardner. Yesterday, I got my recertification for Adult CPR/AED. Fun fact, I’ve been certified in adult, child, and infant CPR/AED, as well as basic First Aid for choking, burns, cuts, broken bones, etc., for the better part of 10 years. The reason…Girl Scouts! They require certification for every troop, and although my time as a leader has come to an end, my desire to be helpful has not. Thank you to Capitol Broadcasting Company for offering this course to its employees at no cost! Exploring-Occoneechee Council, Boy Scouts of America

Investigative reporter and documentary producer at WRAL.

We're wrapping up our latest WRAL documentary, airing next week, focused on vaping among young people in North Carolina. As always, I've learned so much from experts, doctors, state officials, and especially from the teenagers themselves. Their honesty and perspective make for the most compelling interviews. We're ready to get this out into the world. Stay tuned!!! WRAL Capitol Broadcasting Company
