WPT’s Boulder office recently spent a rewarding day volunteering at North Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. As part of our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, we rolled up our sleeves to maintain and improve the well-loved trails used by hikers and bikers alike. Our team spent the day clearing out and restoring drainage features to protect the trails from runoff and moving massive rocks (yes, it took 4-6 people per rock!) to reinforce trail boundaries, ensuring that visitors stay on the designated paths and the environment stays protected. We are proud to contribute to preserving the natural beauty of our community while promoting outdoor access for everyone. A huge thank you to our team for their dedication and hard work!

WPT’s Clover Creek Logistics Center project in Puyallup, Washington, recently attained LEED Silver Certification, highlighting our commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible building practices. Key features of the 192,163-square-foot facility include energy-efficient MEP systems, water conservation initiatives, wetlands preservation, the use of sustainably sourced materials, measures to reduce heat island effect and light pollution, as well as the incorporation of green spaces and native landscaping. This month, the WPT team rolled up their sleeves to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota’s Women Build program. Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to help create, preserve, and promote affordable homeownership and advance racial equity in housing, and the Women Build program is specifically focused on the inclusion of women in the work of building homes.? Our dedicated team spent the day standing exterior wall panels and framing interior walls of a single-family home, all while gaining new skills and making a tangible impact on our community. A huge thank you to everyone on our team who participated and contributed to making this event a success. We are excited to see the finished result of the houses for deserving families!?

We are excited to welcome Josephine Duchow as a WPT 2024 Summer Associate.?Josie is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in real estate and marketing, with a minor in sustainability. During the course of our summer associate program, Josie will have the opportunity to work closely alongside the WPT investment and asset management teams and gain hands-on experience in all facets of WPT’s business. WPT’s Women’s Network recently organized a food drive to benefit the St. Louis Park Emergency Program (STEP) and local families in need. Together, WPT employees donated over 600 food and baby items, far surpassing its collection goal.
