This month, the WPT team rolled up their sleeves to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota’s Women Build program. Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to help create, preserve, and promote affordable homeownership and advance racial equity in housing, and the Women Build program is specifically focused on the inclusion of women in the work of building homes.? Our dedicated team spent the day standing exterior wall panels and framing interior walls of a single-family home, all while gaining new skills and making a tangible impact on our community. A huge thank you to everyone on our team who participated and contributed to making this event a success. We are excited to see the finished result of the houses for deserving families!?

We are excited to welcome Josephine Duchow as a WPT 2024 Summer Associate.?Josie is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in real estate and marketing, with a minor in sustainability. During the course of our summer associate program, Josie will have the opportunity to work closely alongside the WPT investment and asset management teams and gain hands-on experience in all facets of WPT’s business. WPT’s Women’s Network recently organized a food drive to benefit the St. Louis Park Emergency Program (STEP) and local families in need. Together, WPT employees donated over 600 food and baby items, far surpassing its collection goal. Groundbreaking! WPT’s West Coast team, alongside leaders of Premier Design Build and the City of Fontana gathered at WPT Commerce Center for the groundbreaking ceremony for our new 318,243 square foot warehouse development located at 14874 Santa Ana Avenue in Fontana, CA. The building will be delivered in Q3 2024 with best-in-class design attributes including 36’ clear height, excess trailer parking and LEED Certification. In the spirit of the project team's commitment to community impact, a donation was made to the Boys and Girls Club of Fontana during the event, aligning with our dedication to support and enrich the local communities where we invest. Thank you to everyone who played a role in making this groundbreaking ceremony a success. We look forward to successful completion of construction in 2024.
