Today was an exciting milestone as our Middle Program students held their very first science fair!?? Each class worked hard to create innovative projects and presentation posters. Everyone had a blast exploring the experiments, engaging with the displays and voting for their favorites.

In honor of Black History Month, our students have been learning about the lives and legacies of influential figures in Black history. Swipe through to see their incredible artwork, inspired by these remarkable individuals and created by our talented students!????

The students love rolling, laughing and interacting as they experience the movement and bounce of the inflatable mat at the gym. It’s a fun and engaging way for them to unwind and enjoy the moment!

WPSBC Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Dr. Rebecca Renshaw will be returning to the School on August 11, 2025 to serve as Executive Director! Following a comprehensive national search, Dr. Renshaw was chosen based on her outstanding leadership capabilities and commitment to WPSBC’s mission and vision. This week, some of our Community Experience students had the opportunity to visit Switch and Signal Skatepark, located in Swissvale. Our students first explored the park and oriented to the ramps and features, and then used adapted equipment (including adapted roller skates) to hit the park!???? Thank you to our friends at Switch and Signal for opening early so our students could have such a fun-filled and unique experience.

Our secondary student markets are the perfect way to embrace the holiday seasons! Today, we hosted our Valentine's Day market, where students showcased their creativity by designing, crafting and selling themed items.????
