?? Today is day 2 of 5 Days of Gratitude! ?? Today we reflect on the student innovators in our community. We are grateful that so many brilliant creators and ideators let us be a part of their journey. And through the guidance and support of Beswick Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Rosanna Garcia, PhD, Ardian Pre?i and the WPI i3 Lab, our students have an army of mentors, investors & resources to help them find success. ?? ?? ?? Our students have many success stories at every level from concept to commercialization but a few notable projects are: ??Technotonin Industries - Worcester Polytechnic Institute students Antonio Marzoratti & Ivan Zou, along with their friend Arav Tyagi a student at Boston University, started Technotonin to develop PAWE (Portable Affordable Wheelchair Enhancer), to transform any manual wheelchair into a powerful mobility device. In September they won 1st Place in WPI i3 Lab's WPI Demo Day and took home the prestigious Kalenian Award, presented by Paul Kalenian in honor of his father alumni Aram Kalenian (Chemistry '33). With this win the students gained entry into the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Global Pitch Competition and on November 2nd they won! ????? Through Croi's tools and resources, a college education is becoming more accessible for everyone. True Robotics are now preparing to expand into New York City as they've been collaborating with the Department of Education in New York!
