#MUFC25 is around the corner! Trent and I are headed (back) to #Vegas next week to connect, learn, and celebrate with some amazing people and organizations. The multi-location space is unique - regardless of industry segment - for many reasons. It offers a problem-solving addict like me and endless supply. I'm not aware of another space where brand / guest experience is expected to be flawlessly consistent across geographically dispersed (siloed) teams of mostly hourly employees that are a challenge to recruit, retain, and keep engaged. Toss in state/local regulations, brands rolling out changes, facilities needing to be maintained, and of course the human dynamic and you have yourself an endless supply of opportunities. ?? The operations, facilities, and HR professionals that take it on though are nothing short of amazing. Spending time and learning from them is always rewarding. With the International Franchise Association (IFA) merging with Franchise Update Media (host of MUFC) I'm excited to learn how this show will (or won't) be changing.
