Wound Care Education Institute

The Wound Care Education Institute? (WCEI?) provides comprehensive training programs at locations throughout the U.S. in the fields of Skin and Wound Management, Diabetic Wound Management and Ostomy Management. Most courses are also made available in a self-paced computer-based module. CERTIFICATIONS: Upon successful completion of a course, eligible medical professionals can complete an on-site exam offered by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy? to achieve board certification in Wound Care (WCC?), Diabetic Wound Management (DWC?), Ostomy Management Specialist? (OMS), or Nutrition Wound Care (NWCC?). Eligible medical professionals include RN, LPN, LVN, PT, PTA, OT, NP, PA, MD, DM, DO, RD and RDN.
