Our Tempel facility in Chennai, India, recently celebrated Pongal, a multi-day harvest festival marking the end of the winter solstice and welcoming the arrival of the harvest season. The festival honors nature’s blessings with the famous #Pongal dish, made from freshly harvested ingredients, symbolizing prosperity and abundance. We recently kicked off our Worthington Steel Workforce Experience program for 2025. This program gives high school students the opportunity for on-the-job training in our facilities, mixed with classroom instruction facilitated by our learning and development team to give them a head start for life after graduation. Throughout the past two weeks, they conducted team work and problem-solving activities, learned about Our Philosophy and safety in the workplace.
