Worthi is a full-service cultural connections agency, where we grow brands and build IP by harnessing the massive influence, buying power and sheer size of underestimated audiences. We implement an ethnographic marketing approach into everything we do. Ethnography is the study of people and cultures, and we steep ourselves in the behaviors and desires of specific communities, and create the cultural relevance between their unique needs, and a brand’s unique story, to create a lasting bond. Why? Because these audiences influence and define broader culture and offer inarguable and extensive bottom line value to brands, and ultimately, their business longevity depends on their adoption… This is growth marketing.     We did it! ?? The Allies A.S.K. series—a project I had the privilege to direct with the incredible teams at WORTHI, Paramount+, and SHOWTIME—just won Bronze at The Clios. But this isn’t just about an award; it’s about what this project stands for: visibility, allyship, and action for Trans and nonbinary communities. This recognition comes at a time that feels especially significant, right before Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR). Creating space for these stories—to be seen, heard, and celebrated—has never been more urgent. But visibility alone isn’t enough. The heart of Allies A.S.K. is in its name: asking how you can show up. Asking how you can truly be there for Trans and nonbinary people in ways that are meaningful, tangible, and consistent. And honestly, our communities need your support now more than ever. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible women who courageously shared their stories and showed up unapologetically as themselves. Your bravery and authenticity inspire countless others to embrace who they are and stand tall in their truth. TDOR is about remembrance—honoring and mourning the Trans lives we’ve lost. But it’s also about resolve: committing to show up for our Trans and nonbinary siblings every day, especially as we face an increasingly hostile political climate. With policies and rhetoric threatening our communities, resolve means more than remembering—it means fighting for a future where safety, dignity, and authenticity aren’t privileges but rights for everyone. Let’s keep doing the work. Now, more than ever, lives depend on it. ?? Special thank you to Cindy Okereke and Dae Brummitt for bringing me on to work with them on this incredible project.

Butttt, when asked how brands should connect themselves to cultural happenings, I brought up the fact the majority brands do it without thinking... When a trend is happening, or a cultural moment, you have to think (A) does my brand have value to add to the conversation, (B) can I do it authentically and (C) can I do it quickly?     We partnered with our clients at Google for the Made by Google Pixel Perfect NBA Game Night at the Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks game at Kaseya Center in Miami, offering a blend of cutting-edge tech and courtside action for cultural press and creators. The high-energy event was the second stop of our Made By Google Roadshow series, part of our strategy to engage with a highly distributed cultural press and creator landscape through unique events and experiences that bring Google magic to life. Press and creators were able to test the products in action while watching the Miami Heat vs. NY Knicks game. They put their Pixel camera to the test, capturing all the on-court action, from epic slam dunks to game-winning shots. Pixel’s Super-Res Zoom, Zoom Enhance, Magic Editor, Long Exposure, Panorama, Night Sight (video) and Real Tone features helped attendees capture thrilling moments and showcase the devices’ capabilities in action.

    As the multicultural PR agency of record for MUFASA, we partnered with our clients at The Walt Disney Studios to host “MUFASA: A Night with Barry Jenkins” where Black journalists got to view never before seen footage of the highly anticipated film! Attendees were captivated by Barry’s insights and left wanting more after a peek at the “39 minutes and 15 seconds” first-look at film footage. The Q&A conversation was both inspiring and thought-provoking, and the energy in the room was electric. Barry discussed the importance of being the first director of a Lion King film of African descent which further emphasized the importance of ensuring Black journalists got first-access to the film.
