The Worcester World Affairs Council is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization engaging the community in central Massachusetts in international affairs since 1958. The Council’s monthly meetings in Worcester provide a convivial setting for members and invited speakers to discuss the critical global issues of our time. Members include civic leaders, academics, professionals and business people, all of whom share a desire to gain a greater understanding of international and global issues. The Worcester World Affairs Council (WWAC) is affiliated with the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA). Neither the WWAC nor the WACA have any political affiliation and do not take a position on any matters of policy. Members have widely varying points of view along the political spectrum.
