But what does F5 do?? I actually had no idea when I got my first job at F5 back in 2018. I knew it had something to do with data centers and security... sort of a backbone-of-the-internet type of company... but it took me several years of working here to begin to understand the extent to which F5 powers and protects the global application ecosystem. I created this video earlier this year in partnership with Buu Lam, Byron McNaught and Jeff Alldridge to help the non-technical folks out there (like me) understand what it is that F5 does, and why it is such an integral part of your everyday life - whether you know it or not!
