We had a great time this morning at Fulston Manor Academies Trust in Sittingbourne where Victoria James, Crime Scene Investigator at Kent Police and Kayleigh Graham, Head of Growth at Telleroo both gave really inspiring and interesting presentations to year 8 and 9. They spoke to over 400 students this morning and kept them engaged and enthusiastic with some students raising their hands to ask questions and coming up to us at the end to find out more. February at Worldly Wise has been a busy one: We have continued to grow steadily and STEM sessions are being booked in at schools constantly, including life experience talks, career days and interactive activities 9 sessions have taken place in the past month including these: https://lnkd.in/eyynJwCe https://lnkd.in/e4gsUx-m We have got more sessions taking place at schools next week which we are excited about Recent feedback from students: "I thought the construction company's talk was interesting and fun" The best takeaway was that uni was now something a student was considering. Plans are being made to create an interactive activity for small cohorts of students to experience a mock crime scene to learn about the different types of skills required to be a forensic scientist and solve crimes plus lots lots more behind the scenes that we will be sharing soon To get involved, go to: https://worldly-wise.org/ #WhyNotYou #WorldlyWise
